Michael is available for private lessons for beginning through intermediate trumpet players. He has studied at Schenectady County Community College for Music Performance and also studied Music Education at the College of Saint Rose. He is versed in all styles of music from baroque to classical to commercial and big band jazz. The student will not only learn to improve their trumpet playing, but will also develop a base of musicianship through the fundamentals of the trumpet and music theory. The overall goal is not only to make the student a better trumpet player, but a better musician.

Remember, it is ideal for school-age students to take lessons not only in school but outside of school as well. This is especially important over summer recess to maintain and continue to build upon his/her skill level.

Michael is available to play trumpet in any setting for any occasion. He is just as at home in a classical chamber music group as he is in a big band or pit orchestra. He is available to play with big bands, wind ensembles, pit orchestras, show bands and rock bands as well as small brass ensembles and solo work. He also specializes in ceremonial trumpet work.
